Health & Wellness Editor
Dana evaluates online GLP-1 weight-loss programs against the same criteria — medical oversight, medication options, pricing, and support — so the comparisons stay consistent and impartial. Content is educational and not a substitute for medical advice.
Our editorial standards
- We score every program against the same five criteria — no exceptions.
- Rankings are editorial and cannot be purchased; companies cannot pay for placement.
- We prioritize programs with genuine licensed medical oversight.
- We disclose affiliate relationships clearly and revisit rankings as the market changes.
- All content is for educational purposes only — never medical advice.
How we review programs
Every program is scored against the same five criteria so the comparison stays fair and consistent.
1. Verify medical oversight
We confirm each program connects you with U.S.-licensed providers who review your health history before prescribing.
2. Compare medication & pricing
We compare brand-name vs. compounded options, dosing flexibility, what's included in the price, and how insurance is handled.
3. Assess support & reputation
We weigh ongoing provider care, coaching access, customer support, and verified reviews.
Scores are editorial and independent. No company can pay to rank higher or to be included.
Safety & responsible sourcing
Because these are prescription medications, we only feature programs that connect you with U.S.-licensed healthcare providers who review your health history before prescribing, and that dispense through licensed U.S. pharmacies. We do not promote, link to, or rank sources of gray-market, research-only, or unregulated GLP-1 medications, and we never encourage buying prescription drugs without a clinician’s involvement. Where programs offer compounded options, we explain what that means so you can discuss it with your provider.
How we stay independent
This site is reader-supported. When you start a program through links on our site we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These commissions fund our work but never influence our rankings — our five scoring criteria are applied identically to every program.
